Cookies & Tracking Notice
Last updated:
1. About this Notice
This Cookies & Tracking Notice explains whether and how cookies and similar technologies are used on ostrai.ai.
It should be read together with our Privacy Notice.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files that websites may place on your device through your browser. They can be used to provide website functionality, remember information or preferences, or collect information about how a website is used.
Websites may also use technologies such as browser storage, pixels or other technologies that store or access information on your device for similar purposes.
The OSTRAI Website does not currently use these technologies to identify or track visitors.
3. Our current approach
At the date of this Notice, the OSTRAI Website does not set browser cookies.
We also do not currently use browser-storage technologies such as local storage, session storage, IndexedDB or service-worker storage to retain information about Website visitors.
OSTRAI does not currently use optional analytics, behavioural advertising, cross-site tracking or visitor-identification technologies on the Website.
In particular, we do not currently use:
- Google Analytics;
- advertising cookies or pixels;
- cross-site behavioural advertising;
- visitor or company-identification tools; or
- individual Website behavioural profiles.
4. Technologies currently used
The Website’s fonts, images, styles and scripts are served from OSTRAI’s own Website origin.
Navigation, search, filtering and other interactive Website functionality operate without setting browser cookies or storing persistent identifiers on your device.
Accordingly, at the date of this Notice:
- there are no Website cookie names or expiry periods to list;
- no analytics, advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies are used; and
- the Website does not currently display a cookie-consent banner.
Your browser may temporarily cache Website resources as part of normal page delivery. OSTRAI does not use browser caching to identify or track visitors.
5. Technical Website logs
The infrastructure used to host and secure the Website may process technical information relating to Website requests, including information such as IP addresses, request information and security logs.
This is server-side processing and is separate from placing cookies or similar technologies on your device.
Further information about this processing is available in our Privacy Notice.
6. OSTRAI Briefing
The OSTRAI Briefing is designed to use a native OSTRAI Website subscription interface rather than an embedded third-party tracking widget.
The Website does not load Brevo advertising or behavioural-tracking scripts.
Information submitted in connection with the OSTRAI Briefing and the operation of Briefing emails is described separately in our Privacy Notice.
7. Third-party links
The Website contains links to third-party websites and platforms, including LinkedIn and external publications or event resources.
These are ordinary outbound links. OSTRAI does not currently embed social-media tracking widgets or third-party video players on the Website.
If you follow an external link, the destination website may use cookies or other technologies under its own privacy and cookie arrangements.
8. Managing cookies in your browser
Most modern browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies through their settings. These controls apply generally to websites you visit.
At the date of this Notice, the OSTRAI Website does not itself set browser cookies. You can nevertheless manage cookies placed by other websites through your browser’s privacy or cookie settings.
Further general information about managing cookies is available at aboutcookies.org.
9. Future changes
If OSTRAI introduces optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking technologies in future, we will:
- update this Notice before the technology is activated;
- provide appropriate information about the technology, its purpose and duration; and
- obtain consent before activation where consent is required by applicable law.
Technologies requiring consent will not be activated before that consent has been obtained.
